This was a lesson in subtractive drawing, also, a crowd scene. Several people objected to the eyes, but in the photo I was working from everyone was squinching their eyes in the sun, so it was realistic.
The woman down in the front has a doll on her lap. In the original photo it was a very ugly doll, so I used artistic license to make it more appealing.
